Lego 8500 Throw Bots Torch

Torch, one of eight characters in the LEGO Systems Throwbot galaxy, is protector of the Fire World. His right hand throws the discs used by all Throwbots in competition (two discs are included here), and his left hand possesses the unique ability to throw fire. Torch is made of black-and-red plastic and measures 8 inches from (throwing) fingertip to the tip of his flame--4.5 inches standing tall. Gears and a screw control the movement of his torso. Simply flick the disc in his throwing hand to engage him in disc-shooting contests with his fellow Throwbots. Torch folds to fit into a belt-looped, rigid plastic carrying case, also in black-and-red plastic. The set contains 31 small, intricate pieces and an illustrated booklet with exploded views for assembly. --Louise Carter
